Shri Yantra
The Shri Yantra is the sacred geometry of Goddess Lakshmi — nine interlocking triangles around a central bindu, raised on a square plate and marked with Shri Yantra and Lakshmi Data. It is among the most revered yantras in the tradition and is kept in the mandir, the locker or at a cash counter for prosperity, abundance and harmony in the home and in business.
Why people keep it:
- Sacred Shri Yantra - Nine Triangles Around the Central Bindu
- Raised Relief Engraving - Every Line and Letter Stands Out
- Flat Square Plate - Sits Upright in the Mandir or Stands in a Locker
Note: Each piece is engraved and finished by hand, so small differences in the markings and the surface are normal.
Benefits
The Yantra Of Lakshmi – The Shri Yantra is traditionally kept for prosperity, abundance and harmony, and is the yantra most associated with Goddess Lakshmi.
For The Mandir Or The Locker – Kept in the pooja room, the locker or at a cash counter, it is believed to invite steady wealth and keep the flow of money settled.
Sacred Geometry – Nine interlocking triangles meet around the central bindu — a pattern held as the most powerful form in the yantra tradition.
Clean, Raised Engraving – The triangles, the mantra border and the words Shri Yantra and Lakshmi Data stand out in clear relief and stay sharp over the years.
Fits Anywhere It Is Needed – Flat and compact, so it sits in the mandir, the almirah locker, the cash box or on an office table.
The Classic Diwali Gift – A sacred piece made to be kept for years — fitting for Dhanteras, Diwali, a griha pravesh or a new business.
How to keep it?
- Keep it in the mandir, the locker, the cash box or on an office table
- Place it in the north or east part of the room, with the face turned towards you as you sit
- Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth to keep the shine — keep soap and chemicals away
- Light a diya or agarbatti near it on Fridays and on festival days, as the tradition goes
Pro Tip
Many people install it on a Friday after a bath, offer a red cloth, kumkum and a few flowers, and chant Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Mahalakshmyai Namah before keeping it for the first time.
Best day to begin
Friday morning is the most auspicious time to begin, as Friday is the day of Lakshmi. Dhanteras and Diwali are considered the best days of the year to install a Shri Yantra.
